SQUINT Optometry is located in the historic village of Irvington, New York, along the Hudson River just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge. SQUINT was established by Dr. Debra Bernstein, a local resident and graduate of The George Washington University and The New England College of Optometry.

Dr. Bernstein specializes in comprehensive eye exams as well as state-of-the-art contact lens care. Dr. Bernstein examines patients of all ages, including children and adults. She also evaluates and treats patients with a variety of medical conditions, including conjunctivitis, dry eye, diabetes and hypertension, and works closely with area physicians if patients are in need of further treatment. As an affiliate of The Laser Center, she provides pre and post-op care for LASIK surgery. Dr. Bernstein has been practicing in the New York area since 1993 and is a long-standing member of the American Optometric Society as well as the New York Optometric Association.
